"This course is an introduction to the study of probability, interpretation of data, and fundamental statistical problem solving. It will provide students with a solid
foundation in probability and the facility to process statistical information. The course content includes measures of central tendency, normal curves, distributions,
and statistical inference. Probability of events will be modeled through simulation techniques. The use of technology will be emphasized. " -Piero Gualcherani

This course completely changed my perspective about probability and statistics because when I took Algebra I and Algebra II, I used to hate this topic since I always get a very low score on those chapters. After taking this course, it turned out that the subject it's not hard at all and I'm actually really good at it. This class rarely involved memorization; however, it required a lot of understanding and surprisingly, it is the only math class that require you to write sometimes paragraphs to explain your answer and you can also argue about your answer because some questions have gray area. Also, because Mr. Gualcherani is very energetic and jumpy, he made it easier for us to stay awake in class and his explanation is also very clear and understandable.
